We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Cifone’s in Irvington! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive — you can really feel the pride and passion the owners have for this new spot.
We started with the beet salad and tuna tartare, both fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The highlight of the night was the tomahawk veal chop — perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. We wrapped up the evening with mini cannolis, which were the perfect sweet finish to an incredible meal.
A must-try addition to the Irvington dining scene — we’ll definitely be back soon!

Food and service were both excellent, we stopped in after a long day of driving and sight seeing and we're very glad we did. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent, if we lived in the area this place would be a regular place we visited for sure.

Fabio (lookalike for Jude Law) was our waiter this evening for a party of 5, and his excellence added so much to our fine dining experience. The food was simply fresh and scrumptious. When a salad was sent to our table missing one key ingredient, Fabio took the plates back to the kitchen and had the salads re-made to perfection. The Branzino (also known as European sea bass) was an excellent choice. It had a delicate, flaky texture and was mild, with a subtly sweet flavor. The desserts and coffees were perfectly done. Thank you Michael Cifone and Matt Kay, for a truly wonderful evening. - Andrew Jay Gross

Came here for Valentine’s Day with my lady and all I can say is positive things about Cifones. First off, the service was top tier and the vibes were elite.
We ordered the tiger shrimp cocktail, muscles and beet salad for apps and the portions are perfect! For dinner, my girlfriend ordered the linguine and clams and I ordered the surf and turf. The steak was amazing. Her dish was delicious as well. We skipped desert but the staff were nice enough to give us fresh rainbow cookies anyway!
Highly , highly reccomend this spot and can’t wait to bring the crew here !

Last weekend we had dinner at Cifone’s in Irvington, and it was truly a fantastic experience from the moment we walked in. This relatively new spot on Broadway already feels like a neighborhood classic. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff immediately made us feel at home.
We were seated at what is now our favorite spot, the back corner table of the dining room It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening.
The service was absolutely fabulous, attentive without ever being intrusive, and every course was delicious. The menu celebrates classic Italian cooking with beautifully prepared dishes and high-quality ingredients, from fresh seafood and handmade pastas to rustic Italian favorites. Everything we tried was flavorful, thoughtfully prepared, and presented with care. You can really taste the attention to detail in the kitchen.
A particularly nice touch was when chef-Co-owner Michael Cifone came by the table to greet us personally. That kind of hospitality says a lot about the restaurant and the pride behind it.
To finish the evening, we were treated to complimentary after-dinner drinks, which was such a gracious gesture and the perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
Cifone’s has after one visit become one of our favorite places in the Rivertowns. Great food, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality, exactly what a great Italian restaurant should be. We’ll definitely be back… and hopefully that back corner table will be waiting for us again.

Absolutely loved this new Italian spot! The food was incredible — everything tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The service was just as amazing; everyone was so welcoming and attentive from start to finish. On top of that, the atmosphere and vibes were perfect for a night out. Definitely a new favorite in Irvington and can’t wait to go back!

We popped in for lunch today. While the prices are not inexpensive, the experience was top notch and well worth it. The quality of the ingredients and size of the portions were great but it was the flavors, the presentation, service and decor that were next level. I did not expect to have such a meal. This is one of my new restaurants worldwide. I look forward to returning. I apologize that the photos were not the best, my camera is broken and someone couldn’t wait so the artichoke dish is not in its full glory. We had the sambuca shrimp….it may be in my top 10 dishes ever eaten. The sauce is perfection. The fennel, pear, blue cheese salad was refreshing and a delight. Shrimp risotto was outstanding. What a surprise to discover this gem and for it to be local is even more exciting.

I had no immediate plans of visiting Cifone’s as it is a little far from me, but when my new friend asked me join her for dinner, I could not refuse.
This place is worth the bad parking. I loved the food, atmosphere and service.
I didn’t think that I would ever taste an artichoke dish as perfect at the carciofe at Piccola Trattoria in Dobbs… but this one is equally incredible and yet totally different.
The shrimp sambuca was another favorite. I could drink the sauce. The rigatoni with vodka sauce made me wish that I could eat more pasta.
I LOVE a restaurant that cares about details… where you can see and taste the owners love throughout. I met the owners and they are adorable. Is that ok to say? and the wife of one of the owners… super awesome. She was the mastermind behind the tortoni dessert. Don’t skip this.
I cannot wait to return. Congrats!

This was our 3rd time and it has consistently been delicious. Our waiter was extremely attentive, polite and knowledgeable. The friendly cozy but yet sophisticated atmosphere brings the ambiance of your experience to another level. This has become one of our staple choices for date night and to bring new people who haven’t experienced it yet. I literally could order every appetizer because that’s how delicious they are. They have fun spins on traditional meals and that’s what brings this restaurant to another level. I can’t wait to go back. A must try: artichoke appetizer, clams, calamari, bolognese, pork chop, risotto are just to name a few. My favorite cocktail is the Sicilian margarita which has a smooth hint of orange which is delish! Enjoy!! A little hint,
Definitely make a reservation it’s so packed walk ins may be tricky. Call ahead and see.

Cifone’s blends traditional Italian cuisine with modern notes to present a high end dining experience in Irvington. The staff did an amazing job with the service and provided the perfect experience. Big shoutout to Hannah our waitress that took such a great care of us. This restaurant has an excellent variety of superb appetizers which make it a visit in and by itself. We particularly enjoyed the crispy Brussel sprouts with guanciale and honey balsamic glaze. Everything was how it is supposed to be. Congratulations on the team! A must try establishment.
